Alderson Community Market
Welcome to the Alderson Community Market website! We are a new organization interested in promoting a weekly community market located at the interpretive center on Riverside Drive in downtown Alderson, West Virginia. Based on community feedback and several meetings, it was decided to hold the Alderson Community Market every Saturday morning from 830am to 1230pm. The first market was May 14th and will extend throughout the summer. The market will be located at the new interpretive center (old Gulf station) on Route 12, look for the sign in the window. Please come out every Saturday and support our local farmers, craftspeople, and entertainment.
The Alderson Community Market will be holding it's first AutumnFest on Saturday, October 8 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM! It will celebrate Alderson's successful first market season and feature fresh, local produce and baked goods, live music, fun kids activities and traditional demonstrations, from woodworking, to weaving, to pressing cider.
Come learn about the agricultural heritage of the Greenbrier Valley and support our local farmers! There will also be a pumpkin patch on site...
The AutumnFest will be held at the site of the weekly Alderson Community Market, at the Greenbrier Interpretive Center along Rte 12, near the old bridge.
